ARKIVET Peace and Human Rights Centre is located in a historic building that used to be a regional headquarter for the Gestapo during World War II. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR VISIT

Our permanent exhibition, Brennpunkt Arkivet: Occupation, resistance, captivity and cooperation in Agder 1940-1945, is located in the basement. The exhibition is based on the history of the house as the headquarters of the Gestapo during World War II, and gives you the opportunity to experience the local war history in authentic surroundings.
